Occupational Therapy (OT)

Occupational Therapy focuses on the everyday activities, routines, and roles that give life purpose. Mental health challenges, substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions can all make it difficult to manage daily responsibilities, maintain relationships, return to work or school, care for yourself, or participate in activities you once enjoyed. Our occupational therapist works alongside the clinical team to help individuals regain confidence, independence, and the practical skills needed for lasting recovery.

Our OT services are individualized and may focus on:

  • Establishing healthy daily routines and structure

  • Building executive functioning skills, including organization, planning, time management, and task completion

  • Stress management and healthy coping strategies

  • Emotional regulation and sensory-based coping techniques

  • Improving motivation, confidence, and self-efficacy

  • Developing life skills for independent living

  • Returning to work, school, or meaningful volunteer roles

  • Creating healthy habits that support long-term wellness

  • Community reintegration and increasing participation in meaningful activities

  • Leisure exploration and rebuilding hobbies, interests, and social connections

  • Goal setting and values-based living

  • Sleep hygiene, energy conservation, and overall wellness
